Buffered Magnesium Glycinate capsules contains 100 mg of elemental magnesium.
Buffered Magnesium Glycinate supports general health and wellbeing and maintains healthy immune system function. It may assist in the prevention of magnesium deficiency when dietary intake is inadequate. Magnesium maintains energy levels and energy production. It supports muscle function and a healthy neuromuscular system.
Buffered Magnesium Glycinate supports nerve conduction and helps to maintain nervous system health. It also maintains heart health and supports cardiovascular system health.

Directions for use:
Adults: take 2-4 capsules daily, with water, or as directed by your healthcare professional. Vitamins and minerals can only be of assistance if dietary intake is inadequate.
Warnings:
None at the 'directions for use' dosage at adult maximum 350 mg total magnesium daily.
Do not exceed the maximum recommended daily dose for magnesium, which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
Children aged between 1 and 3 years (inclusive) provides 65 mg or more total magnesium.
Children aged between 4 and 8 years (inclusive) provides 110 mg or more total magnesium,
Individuals aged 9 years or older provides 350 mg or more total magnesium.

Why do you buffer the magnesium glycinate with magnesium oxide?
Buffered Magnesium Glycinate capsules contains 100 mg of elemental magnesium. It is buffered with Magnesium oxide, which is often erroneously considered to be much less bioavailable compared to other forms of magnesium, either organic or inorganic, whereas studies show that the differences are marginal. Magnesium oxide has a much higher pH of 10 and is more alkaline than Magnesium Citrate which ranges between 5-9 pH depending on the concentration. Thus, the oxide form is the stronger buffer compared to Citrate and is the reason we refer to our formulation as Buffered Magnesium.
