TriHerb™ is a oral herbal liquid containing Artemisia absinthium (Wormwood), Juglans nigra (Black Walnut) and Syzygium aromaticum (Clove flower bud). This palatable glycerol based formula contains wormwood, which is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as a vermifuge/helps remove intestinal threadworms and pinworms.
Artemisia absinthium (wormwood) also is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to:
- Decrease symptoms of indigestion/dyspepsia and reduce loss of appetite; and
- Support the nervous system.
This oral liquid allows for flexible and individualised dosing.
Does TriHerb contain nuts?
The Warning ‘Contains tree nut products’ is a ARTG mandatory label requirement as this formula contains Juglans nigra (black walnut) equivalent to walnut hull. Please take the warning statement seriously. Although the residual contamination of black walnut is not detected to 5,000 parts per million we still support this warning statement with nut allergy anaphylactic patients.
How many drops do I need to dose 1 mL?
We use a Continuous Dripolator cap for dispensing for accurate dosing and avoid leaking in transit. Do not remove the Dripolator plug, you only need to unscrew the cap and replace when finished.
Each drop of the Dripolator can be averaged as 0.033 mL (33 μL), that is, 30 drops per 1 millilitre.

Does the product contain ethanol/alcohol?
Less than (4500 parts per million} as is so minimal that it is not a regulatory requirement to list as an excipient on the label.
