After 12 years it is time for a label refresh
Throughout 2024/25, you will see a label design change across all Spectrumceuticals formulations. The new label design will be phased in from March 2024 as we deplete our current label stock. Across the entire range, this change will take approximately 12 months.
Our new design has been simplified with a clear commitment to practitioner only prescribing. In practical terms this means:
— White matte finished labels without consumer-oriented design motifs.
— Clear sharp legible text greater than the required minimum font size.
— Main permitted indications on front of pack for quick reference.
— Included probiotic taxonomy classification numbers on label.
— All excipients are on the label, including allergen statements.
— ‘Suitable for vegans’ statement on front of pack, if applicable.
— Making required warning statements more prevalent.
Additionally, you will also see us swap to amber glass bottles when a formulation contains water-soluble vitamins. This has been done to improve stability. However, our mineral-based and larger powder products will remain in white HDPE containers, as this is the most suitable option available.
This article and label example are for demonstrative purposes however it is a ‘real’ label so please take note of the warning statements. These statements are more prominent on pack and our website.

Store at room temperature, below 25° Celsius, away from direct sunlight.
Updated food allergen statements on pack and website
For example. on the label for the Zinc Citrate P5P we now disclose all ingredients including excipients with a food allergen statement and storage conditions.
Excipient ingredients: colloidal anhydrous silica, leucine, microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose size 0 vegetarian hard capsule.
Allergen statement: No added yeast, gluten, wheat, dairy, preservatives or artificial colours and flavours. Suitable for vegans.
Storage: Store below 25C away from direct sunlight.
We do not use icons on the label however on our website and technical sheets we have updated to a clean line format for readability as seen in this example.

Where do I find the new images?
If you require new images for your website, you can log in with your wholesaler account and go to our ‘Information’ page which hosts all images from three photographic angles: front, permitted indications and directions. All barcodes and ARTG Aust L numbers remain the same as the current design unless the formulation or pack size changes
